About

Armed with boots, bows, and powerhouse vocals, Jenna Kay is anything but subtle. With
a voice built for anthems, her music hits hard, flowing through lyrics about messy breakups,
resilience through heartache, and navigating the awkward, beautiful chaos of life in your
twenties. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter layers her velvety vocals over doo-wop
melodies and distorted guitar riffs, creating a sound that is equal parts glam and grit. Channeling
the spirit of artists like Avril Lavigne, Hayley Williams, and Pat Benatar, her music is nostalgic
and fearless. Stylish, sultry, and razor-sharp, Jenna Kay is redefining what girl-powered pop-rock
looks and sounds like.

Raised in St. Louis, Jenna showed a natural gift for music. She started singing at just five
years old, taught herself the ukulele at 12, and by her teens, was landing the lead role in her high
school’s musical. As a freshman, she was cast as Roxie Hart in Chicago, the first in her school's
history to do so, and by senior year, she was playing Heather Chandler in Heathers. After
graduation, Jenna moved to Nashville to pursue music full-time. She continued to grow as an
artist, working with mentors, defining her sound, and connecting with the local music scene.
She’s become a rising regular performer in the city’s live circuit, taking the stage at iconic
venues like The Bluebird Café, Tin Roof, Jelly Roll’s Bar, and Jon Bon Jovi’s bar.

On stage, Jenna is electric. Trained in musical theater, dance, and voice, she’s a triple
threat. Bold, theatrical, and sassy, she’s studied under some of the best in the industry,
completing Broadway intensives in New York and auditioning at iPOP events in Los Angeles.
The momentum continues to build, as the accolades follow. Jenna was nominated as an
Emerging Artist at the 2025 Josie Awards, received Female Vocalist of the Year in 2025 at the
Nashville Music Awards, and was ranked as a Top 10 Songwriter by Nashville Songwriter
Association International (NSAI) in 2026. Her latest project, Smartsass, debuted at No. 6 on the
iTunes Pop Album Charts and reached No. 26 across all genres after its release. These
achievements solidify her as one of the most exciting new artists in music today.

Jenna Kay balances the grind of her music career with a full-time job as a professional
makeup artist. She does her own makeup for every show, video, and photo shoot and shares tips
with fans on social media. Unapologetically honest, she isn’t afraid to speak her truth, proving
that you can be soft, stylish, and strong all at once. Her signature logo is tattooed on her wrist: a
semicolon, a star, and a treble clef in the shape of her initials, J.K. The same logo is stitched on
the sleeves of her merch as a reminder of how music saved her life. She’s building a catalog of
therapy anthems, designed to meet listeners wherever they are: too soft, too loud, too much, or
just a little messy. Her empowering mantra sums it up perfectly: “Just tie a bow around it.” Own
the chaos, dress it up, and walk out the door like you planned it that way. Polished enough to top
the charts and edgy enough to rattle the speakers, Jenna Kay is the full package, wrapped up in
bows and boots.
